Santa Barbara is a fun beach town with lots to do! Here are a few of our favorite activities and restaurants to visit when we're in town. We hope you love it here as much as we do!
You'll pass by a lot of great wineries on your drive to Santa Barbara. Melville Vineyards & Winery is one we've enjoyed visiting! If you do decide to visit, make sure to call ahead to schedule a reservation.
Butterfly Beach is one of our favorite beaches to visit. It's actually slightly outside of Santa Barbara in Montecito, about a 15 min drive from downtown Santa Barbara.
Santa Barbara is a great town to bike through! State Street is closed to cars, so you can bike right on the main road to check out the downtown area. There's also a bike path that runs along the main beaches on Shoreline Dr.
BCycle is a bike share company in Santa Barbara that has bikes parked all over town that you can rent through their app. You can download the BCycle app on the app store to find where the bikes are parked and pay to rent them.
A classic SB spot to stop for a sweet treat!
As animal lovers, we're big fans of the Santa Barbara Zoo. They prioritize wildlife protection and conservation efforts, and the gardens within the zoo are gorgeous!
Honor Bar is one of our favorite restaurants to visit! We always share the Macho Salad and one of their sandwiches.
The Funk Zone is Santa Barbara's arts and culture district that has a lot of fun breweries and wine bars to check out. We've enjoyed Brass Bear Brewing & Bistro, SB Biergarten, and Corks n' Crowns Tasting Room.
Brophys is an awesome restaurant to grab some seafood with a great view of Santa Barbara and the ocean. We love going at sunset & grabbing a drink at the bar while we wait for our table.
